Indigo Child is a UK based clothing label specialising in crochet womenswear and accessories with bold colours and styles. Every item is handmade-to-order by me (Sarah), and is made with sustainable, vegan and cruelty free materials.

Indigo Child focuses on zero waste, and slow fashion that makes a statement. All of our items are handmade with love, and made from either acrylic or cotton yarn. We make colourful, ethical clothing that is guaranteed to bring your wardrobe joy!

Hey lovelies! I'm Sarah, the designer, maker and boss lady of Indigo Child. Thank you for being here!

So you want to know about me and Indigo Child!
​
I created Indigo Child in 2019 after spending a few years creating crochet and knitwear pieces and finessing my craft. I wanted to make a slow fashion brand that I felt wasn't out at the time, with playful colours and patterns that were 100% hand crocheted and knitted. In 2021 I studied Costume Construction, and soon realised how much fast fashion and the fashion industry was impacting the planet, and wanted to push the idea of shopping sustainably and ethically, whilst also supporting small businesses.

I've received overwhelming support online and now my business has grown into the slow fashion label it is today and just keeps getting better! Me and my brand are based in Essex in the UK, where I spend my days working from home making all your fun lil' items! There's nothing I love more than seeing customers from all backgrounds wearing my garms! You all make my day!
